Lakota Water Company installed its first rainwater collection system in 2000 and officially incorporated in 2002. Founded in Dripping Springs, TX, the company has since grown into a leading provider of Pioneer Water Tanks, offering durable, efficient, and sustainable water storage systems. Still headquartered in Dripping Springs, TX, with an additional warehouse and offices in the heart of the Hill Country in Blanco, Lakota continues to expand its impact while staying true to its mission—ensuring reliable water access for homes, businesses, and agricultural operations.

Pioneer Water Tanks America is a premier manufacturer of high-quality steel water storage tanks, known for their durability and innovation. Their tanks are used for residential, commercial, and agricultural applications, helping communities secure clean water for generations. Lakota Water Company has been a key partner in distributing and installing these tanks, helping customers find the right water storage solutions for their needs.

Reflecting on this milestone, Alan Rossing shared, “In 2005, seeing that first Pioneer tank was amazing. It was life-changing for me. The rainwater industry grew really quickly during that time, and it’s been fun working with everyone over the years—from our great suppliers, to tank manufacturers, to all our ‘colleagues’ in the industry, who also pride themselves on delivering quality rainwater collection services, both here in Central Texas and all around the world. I feel very grateful and humbled.”

Here’s to many more years of success and service!
